Big Ribzy is an artist that has been making some serious moves in 2014. Ever since the release of his debut mixtape ‘King Size Blues’ with UK Runnings back in May, things have been bubbling for this Wolverhampton based artist. He has been playing venues all over the UK sharing stages with the likes of Genesis Elijah, Phili N Dotz, Malik, KNers and more. With a string of support from leading Hip-Hop Blogs & DJ’s, Big Ribzy has now finally unleashed his much anticipated album ‘Blunts & Insecurities’ which is produced by talented duo Lost Alliance.

‘Blunts & Insecurities’ is the ten track album is something that is already getting positive reviews. Conceptually the album the album gives us a more sincere and deeper look at the visions and experiences of Big Ribzy. As far as debut albums go, there is no big budget guests or producers, its more humble than that, just simply the producers Lost Alliance and Twiggy, a rapper who also DJ’s for him as well as working on beats for a 2015 project. This is a must for real Hip-Hop fans, especially those loving that 90’s Boom Bap Golden Era flavour.

This independently released long-player is the start of a barrage of releases coming from Big Ribzy, a UK rapper now signed to Chicago label Platformz, which is run by well-respected producer Rediculus who has worked with the likes of Shabaam Sahdeeq, Ruste Juxx, Brownbag Allstars, Sadat X and more. Signed for an EP & album, Big Ribzy releases his EP ‘No Games’ produced by Rediculus early 2015, as well as working on a new mixtape with UK Runnings entitled ‘Smoke & Mirrors’ and a project with London producer D7. Big Ribzy is a name to get used to don’t say we didn’t warn you.
